The Released Time program adds private school perks to a public school education. We provide a chapel-like experience by teaching weekly Bible-based lessons to 3rd-6th graders.

We are parents, grandparents and members of the local church dedicated to sharing the Word of God with elementary school students across the Chino Valley Unified School District.
Founded in 1998, Chino Valley Released Time Christian Education is a volunteer-led non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. CVCE started by serving two schools and 11 students, but have since expanded our reach to encompass all 22 public elementary schools, impacting thousands of students.
Your child’s safety is a priority, so we ensure every volunteer is vetted and security-cleared.
Positive Life Lessons for Every Student
It’s our hope that every child who joins us on the Bible Bus walks away knowing they are priceless in the eyes of God. Through our weekly lessons, we aim to:
- Create a growing awareness of the caring love of God
- Lead the child into a personal relationship with Jesus
- Present the Bible as a guide for daily living
- Develop within the child a Christian moral and spiritual code
- Encourage the child to participate in a local church
How It Works

We check your students out and walk them to the Bible Bus, parked nearby.
We learn about God with prayer, worship, activities, Bible lessons and verses.
